Digital X-rays
X-rays are an important and useful tool in the diagnosis and treatment of many dental conditions. However, the old X-ray methods were time-consuming and exposed our patients and team members to unnecessary radiation. Today, Dr. Sutherland’s team uses digital imaging to capture your X-rays in a computer file that can be accessed immediately, stored indefinitely, easily shared with your other medical providers, and manipulated on-screen to better evaluate your dental condition.
CEREC®
Dr. Sutherland and his team are pleased to offer the exciting new CEREC® service, or Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. This technology allows us to create custom restorations in a single appointment. First, our team will treat your tooth, prepare it for the restoration, and take digital images of it. Then, we will use the CEREC® machine to custom-design and manufacture a high-quality ceramic restoration, which we will bond to your tooth. With CEREC®, crowns and other restorations can be completed in just one visit. This revolutionary service helps us make your dental treatment faster and more convenient than ever before.
